OSHA, CDC Webinar - COVID-19 Vaccine Updates for the Oil & Gas Industry

Join the Energy Workforce & Technology Council, The National Service, Transmission, Exploration & Production Safety (STEPS) Network, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)/National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for a COVID-19 vaccine update for the oil and gas industry. NIOSH will discuss the vaccines and subsequent updates/materials, and OSHA will provide updates on COVID-19 agency efforts impacting the oil and gas industry.

Council Member Joyce Ryel, Vice President of HSEQ, Fortis Energy Services, Inc., and National STEPS President will moderate the event.

National STEPS began in South Texas in 2003 as a joint effort by the oil and gas industry and OSHA to reduce injuries and fatalities in the region. The volunteer-led organization has since grown to include twenty independent regional networks serving 20 producing states. The agreement established an alliance between OSHA, U.S. Department of Labor, National STEPS Network and NIOSH. The alliance works together to prevent fatalities, injuries, and illnesses in the U.S. onshore exploration and production sector of the oil and gas industry.
